The Information Technology (IT) Department is an integral part of the school district. It's primary function is to ensure all users can access the information and applications needed to complete their tasks while maintaining the integrity and security of the network. The goal of the department is to support all district technology in a manner which will enhance the educational experience of our students.
The Department is responsible for installing and maintaining all workstations and laptops, applications, printers, faxes, scanners, projectors and other peripherial devices as well as installing and managing the servers and the server based applications. IT is also responsible for the design, implementation and management of the network.
The Technology Director is responsible for E-Rate, which provides discounted telecommunications services to K-12 schools and libraries, the development and implementation of a technology plan as well as ensuring the District is E-Rate compliant.
